I'm planning a trip in 2015. My son will be under 3 but is it possible for me to add him to our dining plan without purchasing him park tickets.

    Hi Lauren!

I love the Disney Dining Plan and usually have it as part of my vacation package when I visit Walt Disney World.  The Disney Dining Plan can only be added as a part of a vacation package which includes hotel accommodations and theme park tickets.  Since your child is under 3 and will not have a ticket, you will not be able to add the dining plan for them.

However, even for hearty 2 year old eaters you may not be out much money for your toddler's food.  At all buffet locations (even the Character Dining), your child may partake from the buffet at no additional cost.  The servers will even bring them a beverage for free.  At other dining locations your child is free to eat from your plate.  When my children were small, I would use the Dining Plan to pay for most of my family's meal and then order something small for my toddler and pay separately for it.  Usually though, my meal portions were so large that I would only order a beverage for my child.

I hope you have a Magical vacation!  If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to come back and ask them here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!

    Blessings,
    Brenda ºOº
