Hello, I'm planning a trip for my small family, Do you know how much spending money I should bring when going to Disney world Florida? How did you save up so much for your trip without worries?

    Hi Kanisha,

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World can sometimes be overwhelming so I am so glad that you have asked your question here at the Moms Panel.  There is no set amount of spending money that people bring to the parks.  It will just depend on what you would like to take home with you.  A small plush toy usually costs around $15 while a t-shirt is around $25-30.  There is a bunch of items available under $10 like key chains, pencils, hair ties, and paper to name a few.  To help you save for your trip, I would encourage all family members to buy you Disney Gift Cards.  You can even put a small amount of money towards your vacation each week on a gift card as well.  Disney Gift Cards are accepted everywhere on Walt Disney World property:  at the restaurants, resorts, stores, and Downtown Disney.  It is a great way to save toward your magical vacation.  Please let me know if I can help you further with your planning, Kanisha!
