    Hi I'm planning a trip for my sister and I January 2019. Will Ecots Festival of the Arts be running and if so what days? Thank you

    Hi, there!

     Rebecca, you and your sister will have the best trip together next January! My husband and I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort last January for a weekend without the kids, and we loved visiting the first annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts. The live performance art, living statues and community art showcases made strolling through Epcot extra delightful!

     The 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Arts is running from January 12 - February 19. New for this year, the festival will be open 7 days a week! Dates for the festival have not yet been released for 2019, but look for an announcement to come from Disney Parks Blog regarding next year's Festival of the Arts plans. The announcement for the 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Arts was not made on the Disney Parks Blog until this fall, so you may need to be patient waiting to hear for specific dates and details regarding the festival for 2019. 

     I so hope you are able to visit the Epcot International Festival of the Arts during your January trip in 2019! My favorite part of the festival last year was the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. I had seen Ashley Brown star as Mary Poppins on Broadway several years ago and I was thrilled to see her perform some of my favorite Disney Broadway tunes again last year at Epcot! If available next year, I highly recommend booking a Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package, which will give you guaranteed seating at America Gardens Theatre for one of these stellar performances.
