My Force-sensitive family is also planning a visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park in May! While Season of the Force hasn't been announced as returning to the parks this year, there are ways to celebrate while visiting, such as watching
fireworks on select nights from Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, attending the specially ticketed Disneyland After Dark event,
Star Wars Nite, and taking a ride on
Hyperspace Mountain in Tomorrowland. Hyperspace Mountain is slated to
return on April 28, and it's on my family's must-do list as well, so I understand your concern over timing your visit. Unfortunately, no closing date has been named.
I'm sorry if that's not the exact information you're hoping for. I do have a suggestion, however! Since you're planning on visiting late in May, if Hyperspace Mountain has already closed for the year, you'll want to swing over to check out the Mandalorian and Grogu additions to the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. These new scenes are currently set to debut on May 22. That should help make your visit extra special.
Additional Galactic fun could be announced as we get closer to April and May, when traditionally, out of this world elements like themed drinks and treats or special Characters are revealed for May the 4th. If you'd like to keep your eye out for those potential surprises, follow the
