I’m planning a trip October 3 & 4, 2018. Ride closures have been posted but I don’t see anything for parades and fireworks. Are there really no shows during these dates?!?!?!

Hello, Debbie. Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question.

Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is just a month away – how exciting! There are many things to experience during Halloween Time at the parks. You will love all the autumn décor, seasonal overlays on a few attractions, special Halloween treats, and many of your favorite characters dressed in their Halloween costumes. When it comes to entertainment, some shows like Fantasmic! and the “Remember…Dreams Come True” fireworks switch to weekends-only schedules during this time of year. So while it’s possible that the entertainment schedule could change between now and your travel dates, your best bet for nighttime entertainment will be the dazzling Paint the Night parade which has nightly performances in Disney California Adventure Park. Paint the Night is my absolute favorite parade and should be at the top of every park-goer’s must-do list!

The Pixar Play Parade was extended past the end of Pixar Fest (which concluded on September 3, 2018), but an end date hasn’t been announced. Keep your eye on the schedule throughout this month to see if daily show times for this parade start to populate. It’s possible that parade performance times in Disneyland Park are still being finalized and that’s why they aren’t showing on the schedule yet.

I hope you have a fantastic time at the Disneyland Resort!
