Hi Murry,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! My little guy is 3 years old and, even though he’s really tall for his age, he’s not a fan of roller coasters or attractions that move really fast… which always surprises me, considering how much he loves things that go “vroom” and how much his mama likes those kinds of attractions! I still use an attraction’s height requirement as a barometer for whether it’s one that he should experience, or whether it would be best for him to skip it until he’s ready.
This handy post over at the Disney Parks Blog gives you clear information about the height requirements for almost all of the attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort’s Theme Parks. If an attraction says that it can be experienced by
Guests of “any height”, then you’ll all be able to experience it together, regardless of your little ones’ respective heights.
Another resource for information about planning the perfect trip with your little ones is the
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page. There, you’ll find all kinds of ideas to help you create some magical memories with your boys.
If you want any more tips and tricks to help you plan your family’s vacation, please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us! While travelling anywhere with toddlers can admittedly be pretty exhausting, proper planning can help you not only “find the fun” but it can even lead to moments of parental relaxation too… even at Walt Disney World Resort!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
