    I'm planning a trip for May with the family and trying work out a budget. Can GC also be used to pay for alcohol either with meals or at different counter service? I'm not sure if I could include alcohol in my budget when buying GC to pay for food.

    Hi Alexandra,

    I used mine at Cape May Cafe (Table Service Restaurant) located at The Beach Club Resort and I do recall one of Disney's famous Blue Glow-tini's being on the bill (coolest drink ever, you should try it!).  I also used the Disney Gift Card at Pepper Market located at Coronado Springs Resort (Counter Service Restaurant) for food as well as a Pina Colada once or twice, so it is safe to say that in general, you should be able to use it.  On the Disney Gift Card Website it states that whether you are in the Theme Parks, Downtown Disney or WDW Resorts the following applies:

    "It may be used at Disney owned and operated merchandise, dining and recreation locations where credit cards are currently accepted. Some carts, and other outdoor Merchandise vendors may not be able to accept the gift card".

    From my personal experiences, you should be able to use the gift card at most locations for your food and beverages (alcohol included).  Have a wonderful trip in May.
