Hello fellow Disney fan! It sounds like a visit to Disney World is at the top of your Christmas wish list! You've selected my two favorite parks to visit!
With your plan to arrive at Disney World in the first week of December, the best day to enjoy
Magic Kingdom without visiting
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be Wednesday, December 2, 2026. There are Christmas parties on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of that week.
Even though you are not attending the Christmas party, you’ll still be able to enjoy the perfect holiday decorations that make Magic Kingdom a magical winter wonderland! Main Street, U.S.A. will give you warm, merry Christmas feelings! Be sure to take some photos around the enormous Christmas tree that greets visitors upon entering Magic Kingdom. Another great photo location is in front of Magic Kingdom, just after you enter the turnstiles, but before you enter the main park. The landscaping in that area is manicured perfectly for Christmas card photos!
You mentioned you’ll also be visiting
Hollywood Studios during your vacation. This park hosts a nighttime Christmas-themed event called
Disney Jollywood Nights. The event isn’t being held during the first week of December until December 6, so you can select just about any night to visit that park!
When visiting Hollywood Studios, be sure not to miss
Fantasmic! This is the nighttime show at Hollywood Studios! Join Mickey as he unites with his pals across generations of Disney animation to defeat the villains that haunt his imagination! This nighttime, outdoor show is not to be missed!
