Hello there Gina, welcome to planDisney! How wonderful that you're planning a trip with your Grandchildren, what lucky Grandkids they are!
You are correct that
stroller wagons, as well as strollers larger than 31" x 52" are not permitted within the Disneyland Resort. However, I do have some suggestions for you!
I have seen some triple strollers that can transport up to 3 children at once, but you will want to ensure that it fits within the stroller size requirement, it may be too large. My suggestion would be to bring a double stroller that fits in the size requirement, and the little ones can take turns riding in the stroller. If one of your little ones is more of an infant, you could bring a baby carrier as well if that would help!
I have always found that taking breaks throughout the day really helps get the little ones through a long day at the parks. We at times go back to the hotel for an afternoon nap, or just rest our feet with a snack break in the afternoon. One of our favorite afternoon activities is to take a leisurely ride on the
Mark Twain Riverboat in Frontierland, or even enjoy one of the longer attractions such as
"it's a small world." If you have not visited
Mickey's Toontown in
Disneyland Park, I highly recommend it for your trip! There are plenty of space to let the kids get the wiggles out, as well as play areas for them to enjoy such as
Goofy's How-To-Play Yard and
Donald's Duck Pond. There are also some great places to grab lunch or a snack, and even visit
Mickey's House and get the chance to meet Mickey Mouse himself!
I hope this information is helpful for you Gina, and I'm sending all of the pixie dust that you have a wonderful trip with your Grandchildren! If we can help with any other questions,
please do not hesitate to come back and ask.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
