I'm planning a trip for June 2012 with my family which will include an 11 month old baby. What do you recommend for packing food and diapers. These items take up lots of room. I don't want to have more then 1 suitcase per person.

Hi, Terese! Baggage fees are the worst, right?! And... they're counter-intuative to the Disney park ticket mantra: "the more you play, the less you play." There are nice price breakpoints the longer you stay. That means you might need to bring a little more luggage with you. Conundrum.

If you can't fly Southwest (bags fly free + full participant in Disney's Magical Express,) look into for your baby supplies. You can order diapers, wipes, baby food, sunscreen and anything else under the sun and have it shipped directly to your Disney resort (usually for free!) I recommend placing your order so it arrives about 48 hours in advance of when you will. Make sure you note your name, the resort name & address, your confirmation number and your arrival date on the "mail to" address.
