Hi, I’m planning a trip and would like some help with accommodations. A hotel for the night of September 11, before the cruise, preferably near the airport or Port Canaveral. A Disney Resort hotel for the Disney World portion of the trip (September 15–20)

Ahoy there, Yeongje. Welcome to planDisney. My Panelist pals and I are so glad you’ve taken the time to stop by.

A Land and Sea vacation is truly the ultimate Disney vacation. You’ll get to relax aboard a Disney ship, followed by a touch of Disney magic at the theme parks. There are many lodging options for you to choose from pre-cruise and during your time at the Walt Disney World Resort.

My family and I like to stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport prior to a Disney cruise. It is located inside the airport, and since we live in California and flying to Orlando (MCO) takes all day, it’s really nice to be able to relax shortly after arrival. We also like to add Disney ground transportation from MCO to Port Canaveral. It’s a convenient and leisurely way to get to the port terminal prior to your cruise.

After a magical sailing, you can also add Disney ground transportation from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World Resort. There are numerous lodging options to choose from. Big factors for you to consider are where the hotels are located and hotel categories (deluxe, moderate, value). Since my children are older (23- and 18-years-old), we prefer to stay in the EPCOT-area since we find ourselves at that theme park more. However, if you have younger children, you may prefer to stay closer to Magic Kingdom

When you are ready to add a Walt Disney Resort hotel stay and ground transportation to your current cruise vacation, please call (800) 951-3532. However, I noticed you may be located in South Korea, so you may prefer to email Disney Cruise Line for your questions and requests instead.

If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to sail by planDisney again.

Hope to SEA ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
