Kim, this little girl is so lucky to be loved by you. Like Kala and Tarzan, she'll be in your heart always. I'm so happy to help you work out the logistics for her birthday visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

So I took a look at your dates, and you're right, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party does have dates on December 10th and 11th. Magic Kingdom will close early to non-party guests on those evenings. While you can still catch the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade during the daytime, I fully understand wanting to see Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away and Happily Ever After for some nighttime sparkle. I would definitely recommend shifting your trip to December 12th and 13th. The 12th isn't on the party schedule and should have both the day parades, the night parade, and the year-round fireworks show.

Pro-tip: Just because you won't be at the Christmas party doesn't mean you can't get some extra holiday cheer. Book a well-timed dinner reservation at Wailulu Bar and Grill across Bay Lake at the Island Tower of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort on the 13th. My friends and I enjoyed a lovely dinner in the outdoor seating area and watched the special holiday fireworks exclusive to the party. They even piped in the music for maximum good vibes.
