I'm planning a trip to Florida for my partner and I later this year (traveling from Ireland). We won't be spending all our time at Disney resorts however, likely no more than 4-5 days - is it possible to get tickets by day rather than by week?

Hi Conall and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your great question about purchasing theme park tickets for Walt Disney World!

It is indeed possible for you to purchase 1 - 10 day standard date-based tickets directly from the US version of the Walt Disney World website and/or My Disney Experience App, upon your arrival in the US.

Alternatively, park tickets can be purchased from a Ticket Window or Guest Relations Window which you will find situated outside the entrance to each of the theme parks.

Top Tip - If you plan to visit Disney Springs prior to the first date that you wish to spend at a theme park, I would highly recommend purchasing your tickets from the Ticket Center at Disney Springs. This way, you can have your tickets in hand, ready, on the day of your visit.

The only thing I would say, Conall, is that the UK and Ireland Exclusive Disney Magic Tickets offer such incredible value for money that you might find, depending on the number of days you decide to visit Walt Disney World for, that it actually works out cheaper to purchase these rather than the 1 - 10 day standard date-based US park tickets.

Prices do vary based on the date of your actual visit but, to give you an idea, the current cost of purchasing a 5-day park ticket, with a start date of 3 April 2025, which allows you to visit 1 theme park per day, from the US version of the Walt Disney World website would be $754.96 (including tax) per Guest ages 10+.

In comparison, based on today's exchange rate, this actually works out more expensive than purchasing a 14-Day Disney Magic Ticket from the UK version of the Walt Disney World website in GBP and from the Irish version of the Walt Disney World website in EUR.

I do hope that this information has been of help, Conall. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any other help with the planning of your trip - you can even ask me a question directly if you would like to do so.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
