I'm planning a trip and have a few questions. Can you leave and re-enter the same park without a park hopper ticket? Is it still an option to have purchases sent to your Disney resort? Do you pay for hotel reservation in advance or at checkout?

Hi ReBekah! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney. October in the parks is one of the very BEST times of year to visit. The Halloween Time fall festivities are well underway with some of the most unique once-a-year treats and tricks to explore and experience! You will love seeing Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes, spinning through Jack Skellington's take over of Haunted Mansion Holiday, and the Haul-o-ween celebration in Cars Land is BOO-tastic!

You absolutely can leave and re-enter the same park with a One Park Per Day ticket. In fact, it's encouraged! Even if you aren't staying overnight or at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, I highly recommend taking a midday break from the parks. While I have done many rope drop-to-close days, I find that some downtime in the middle of the day forces you to slow down and actually makes the days feel pleasantly longer. When you let yourself have some of these quieter moments ... you never know what magic might find you! Take a dip, take a nap, grab a DOLE Whip®, and read a book!

You are in luck as this summer will see some favorite perks return to Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, including package delivery! Purchases made at select merchandise locations can be delivered to your hotel and ready for pick up the following day. Hooray! You'll also be able to take advantage of early entry, where Guests of the resort can enter Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure park 30 minutes before park opening. This gives you a bit of a leg up as you head to your favorite must-do attraction. One note here is that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will not be available during early entry, so your Jedis and Stormtroopers will need to choose another favorite to kick off the day. Last but not least, Guests will also be able to participate in preferred access to a limited number of reservations at select table-service restaurants. We are still waiting on details for the pixie-dusted perk, so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more news as it's released!

ReBekah, so much magic awaits! If you have any more questions while you are planning, you know where to find us here at planDisney.

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
