Hi Dejan,
Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to hEAR that you are planning ahead for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! I am happy to provide some initial guidance and then you are more than welcome to
speak with a Cast Member by phone to get help with booking a vacation package.
Prior to calling, I suggest that you search for
vacation packages online. You can also check the
Special Offers to see any discounts that may be applicable to the dates of your visit. When searching vacation packages, check package pricing for different
resort hotels. Use the resort hotel websites to view pictures of the rooms. In the past, I also searched YouTube for videos of resort hotels and resort hotel rooms. Those videos were quite useful in helping us to choose between properties.
We love Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resorts because they have walking paths to Magic Kingdom. On our upcoming trip in July, we are doing a split stay with three nights at Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows and two nights at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Although we adore Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, we are actually quite excited to stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort because it has access to the
Disney Skyliner.
As you make your decision about a resort hotel, consider the amenities that you would prefer and the transportation options. We prefer resort hotels with multiple dining options including a signature dining experience. At Disney's Contemporary Resort, for example, we love to dine at California Grill. The views of Magic Kingdom from the restaurant are spectacular. At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, we also enjoy
Narcoossee's.
As you continue planning, be sure to identify a budget for the trip. Having a budget helps us to select accommodations and dining locations. Once you book a vacation package, be sure to use the confirmation number to link in My Disney Experience. If you do not already have an account, create one. After you link your vacation package, make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. And, at 60-days out, I highly recommend that you make
advanced dining reservations. Keep your eye on the
operational updates since policies and procedures could change.
Dejan, I hope this helps you get started! Your visit will happen soon after the launch of
The World's Most Magical Celebration. And, you may be there for the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. You truly picked a special time to visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
