Hi, Im planning a trip for my family. My grandchildren ages are 6 months to 10 years old. My question to you moms what advise you can give to me. Too make it a magical / safe experience for my family. And advise on finding affordable hopper and fastpas

Hello Bekeisha! Thanks for coming to visit today! I am excited for you and your grandchildren! You're about to have a magical experience!

With your visit quickly approaching, I first recommend that you purchase your park tickets. Decide how many of the four Disney Parks you wish to visit and purchase park tickets for that many days. For example, if you want to visit Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom, then be sure to purchase two-days of park tickets for each member of your group. Remember, children who are three years and under do not require a ticket to enter any of the four theme parks. You presently won't be able to purchase Park Hopper tickets and Fastpass service is also currently unavailable. With the Disney Parks reducing their capacity, the waits for rides and attractions haven't been too bad, so I don't think you'll miss Fastpass too much at this time.

Once you've purchased your tickets, your next step will be to reserve your visits to the Disney Parks that you wish to visit using the Disney Park Pass system. This system will allow you to reserve visits to the parks you wish to visit on the days you choose.

When purchasing your tickets, you can also book a Disney Resort Hotel. Because you are traveling with all of those grandchildren, I recommend a resort hotel that is linked to either the Disney Skyliner or the Monorail. I recommend Disney's Pop Century Resort (Skyliner) or Disney's Contemporary Resort (Monorail). These convenient transportation systems will link you quickly to some of the Disney Parks.

Whether visiting the Disney Parks with my family of five or my extended family of 20, we always build in some downtime to our schedule. I strongly recommend that you do this, especially visiting with all of those grandchildren! They will really appreciate an afternoon break! Some might need a nap while others might like to take a swim in the resort pool. This goes for the adults too!

While you're visiting the parks, you can also take advantage of the Baby Care Centers which can be found in all four theme parks! This is a great place to visit, especially with your six-month old Mouseketeer! Also, Walt Disney World Resort has taken great care to keep their Guests and Cast Members safe! From enhanced cleaning to physical distancing and reduced contact, the Most Magical Place on Earth is going to great lengths to ensure a safe visit for everyone! While you'll find plenty of hand sanitizer around the parks, I always like to travel with a personal bottle of hand wipes or hand sanitizer. This is probably a good idea while traveling with all of those grandchildren. Also, be sure to have your masks when walking around the resort or the parks! These are required of all Guests and Cast Members.

Bekeisha, you are so kind to be planning a visit to Mickey and Minnie's Florida home! Your grandchildren are going to love you even more for what you're doing! Have a magical (and safe) visit!
