Hello Tonya and thank you for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
There's nothing like getting ahead when planning a Christmas vacation to Walt Disney World Resort; with so many elements to think of like choosing a suitable Resort and planning which magical
Holiday Events to attend plus making Advanced Dining Reservations for your dear family up to 180 days ahead of time.
Because my family dynamic is quite similar to yours I understand why you find it hard to decide upon a Disney Resort; after all there are so many to choose from!
In past years we've tried and loved
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort; these charming rustic
home away from home style cabins provide plenty of space for a family of 6 to relax and spread out in. You'll find a separate bedroom which comfortably sleeps 4 adults in 1 double bed and 1 full size bunk bed, a family bathroom, a full kitchen plus a cozy living room complete with a pull down double bed suitable for a further 2 adults. Yet more space is amply provided on the outdoor patio which comes with a picnic table and grill and what's more there's even room for parking a vehicle out front!
You may also like to consider 2 inter-connecting Resort rooms which are available upon request at most Disney Resorts; be sure to mention this at the time of booking and again approximately 1 week before Resort check-in. It is worth remembering that Resort room requests are
not always granted, but rest assured Cast Members will always do the best for your families needs.
If I can sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your December 2015 vacation plans at Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
