    I’m planning my trip during a time when there has traditionally been free dining promotions. Do I need to wait to book my package until the promotion begins, or can I book my park/hotel reservations early and then add on the free dining when it becomes ava

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.
    Since new Special Offers and promotions can be posted any time, I always recommend that you make it a priority to reserve the resort and time of year that you're planning to travel first and foremost. Reserve online through the Walt Disney World site with a minimal deposit with the peace of mind that you can make changes to your Magic Your Way Vacation Package up to 46 days prior to arrival.

    If a Special Offer such as Free Dining does become available for your travel time, simply call and speak to a Cast Member at (407) 939-7675. Have your reservation number handy and advise them that you have an existing reservation and would like to change to the 'such-and-such' Special Offer. The Cast Member will confirm or advise you of alternate availability under the offer, review pricing, terms and conditions with you, and then make the necessary adjustments to your reservation for you if applicable.

    Many times I've reserved at regular pricing and then switched my reservation to a Special Offer later on. This way I can begin our planning and start working on our Dining Reservations as soon as we hit that 180-day mark.
