Hi there, Vicki! Welcome to planDisney! We're a group of Disney-loving Guests just like you who have lots of experience visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. When we're not at the Most Magical Place on Earth, we're helping other Guests plan their magical vacations. Let's get started!
I live about an hour away from Walt Disney World so my family visits quite often, and I've been amazed watching the new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve come to life. It's in a perfect location right near
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and it looks just beautiful! I can't blame you for wanting to stay there!
It sounds like you're talking about availability for
Disney Park Pass reservations, which are required along with your tickets for visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks. It's easy to check the current status on the
Availability Calendar. Any date that is shaded in green means all theme parks have availability, yellow means some parks are unavailable, and gray means no parks have availability on that date. Looking ahead to December, every day is still green, so this would be a great time
to buy your tickets and make your reservations! The parks have been booking up really quickly so far this year, so the sooner you can make your plans, the better.
Once you've bought tickets, you'll need to
link them to your My Disney Experience account, and then go to the Disney Park Pass page to make your reservations. Just select your party, choose your date and the park you want to visit, then hit confirm. Repeat that process for the remaining days of your vacation, and you're ready to hit the theme parks!
Vicki, I'm so glad you're planning ahead for your magical holiday vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. You're off to a great start, but if you have any more questions as you continue making plans, don't hesitate to stop by and see us again. We're always here to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
