I’m planning a trip to Disneyland and it would be about 6 of us, I can’t find a good hotel or room for us. The trip wouldn’t be anytime soon as we’re still saving money for it. But we’d like to have a basic price to know how much we should save.

Hi there, Cierra! Welcome to planDisney!

Planning a vacation to The Happiest Place on Earth is such an exciting time, but can sometimes be a little daunting when it comes to getting started. I'm happy to help you by sharing a bit about the accommodation options at the Disneyland Resort.

There are three Disneyland Resort Hotels that you can choose from if you'd like to stay as close as possible to the magic. Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is the most luxurious of all three options. With an elegant, Craftsman-style theme spread throughout the entirety of the hotel, you will have a place away from the parks to feel cozy and comfortable, but with plenty to do! There are 1, 2, and 3-bedroom suites available that will accommodate a party of six Guests. This hotel has another major advantage, its private entrance to Disney California Adventure Park directly through the hotel.

The Disneyland Hotel is where you'll find all the Disney classics and even more nostalgia! If you love Disney history and that overall Disney feel, this might be the place for you. Comparable in price to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, these accommodations still feel luxurious and there are also 1, 2, and 3-bedroom suites that will fit all Guests in your party. This hotel is located just a convenient walk away from both parks, right through the heart of the Downtown Disney District.

Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is another lovely option, giving you a seaside vibe with a Scenic Rooftop Pool. Like the others, there are 1, 2, and 3-bedroom suites that will allow your group to all stay together in the same room. This accommodation is the most affordable of the three, allowing you to save your dollarbucks, as Bluey would say, for souvenirs and extra snacks in the parks!

If you'd like to get an idea of pricing for each of these Disneyland Resort Hotels, simply input your dates (or make them up to check pricing for different times of the year) and add the total of Guests. The room rates for each hotel and room type will pop up and you can browse through and see what may be the best option for your family.

If none of these Disneyland Resort Hotels feel like the right fit, you can also check out the Good Neighbor Hotels nearby. Though these are not quite as ideally located, they still provide convenient access to the theme parks.

Cierra, I know there are many options, but take your time scrolling through what each hotel can offer and see what will make your vacation dreams a reality within your budget. Different things work for different people; no matter your choice, you'll have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort!
