Hi! I'm planning a trip to Disneyland Paris and had a question about eligibility for military tickets. My father is a veteran rated 100% disabled. I have a DOD dependent ID card. This is accepted at WDW/DL. Would this qualify at Disneyland Paris?

    Bonjour!

Hi Erica, welcome to planDisney! I always enjoy the chance to chat about all things Disneyland Paris and help answer fellow Guest questions about the happiest place in Europe. I have been lucky enough to visit regularly throughout my life, and somehow there is still something new to experience on every trip. Speaking of new, Disney Adventure World will open very soon, and Guests will be able to explore the beautiful World of Frozen. You can also join in the Snowflower Festival celebrations during the day, and if you keep your eyes peeled you might even spot Olaf wandering around the land!

Special Rate Military Tickets offer brilliant value for eligible Guests, with savings on two day, two park tickets. Erica, only active or retired military personnel with official proof of service issued by the French, UK, or US government can take advantage of this offer, so the service member would need to be present with their military ID when entering the parks. I know this is not the answer you were hoping for today, but there are still other ways you could save.

Hotel + Ticket Packages booked directly through Disneyland Paris can also offer great value. These packages include discounted Disney Park tickets for every day of your stay, including arrival and departure days. As the park tickets are already reduced as part of the package, additional military discounts are not available. You will also benefit from Extra Magic Time, which allows Guests staying in Disney Hotels to enter the parks before the official opening time each morning. There are also exclusive character meet and greet opportunities available at the Disney Hotels, although this benefit is not offered at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch.

If you are visiting this summer, there is another brand new experience coming to Disney Adventure World that I am very excited about. A new nighttime spectacular called Disney Cascade of Lights will be performed each evening at park closing time over Adventure Bay. The show will feature water screen projections, drones, music and fireworks. I am doing my best to avoid all spoilers before I get to see it for myself!

I hope this helps with your plans to visit Disneyland Paris, Erica. Have the best time visiting my favourite vacation destination in Europe! If you have any further questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help.

    See ya real soon!
