I’m planning a trip to Disneyland in July. I usually go to Walt Disney World, and 8m used to Photopass Memory Maker, does Disneyland have a service like this I can purchase? If so how much? I know it’s included w Genie+, but hadn’t planned on getting that

Smile for the camera, Nikki! And welcome to planDisney. I'm also a fan of both Disney coasts, but I love the charm and nostalgia in Walt's park, Disneyland Resort. Your summer visit is sure to be a magical one! And what better way to relive the fun than through photos. I'd like to go ahead and dig in and see your options for capturing those Disney memories on your upcoming trip.

Nikki, I'm happy to report that Disneyland Resort has a couple of photo package options. As you mentioned, you get unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass and attraction photos when you purchase Disney Genie+ for the day. Remember that you also can take advantage of shorter wait times with Genie+, so depending on the number of days you'll be in the parks, this might be a good option.

You can also purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week. Although prices are subject to change, the current cost is around $78 and will include your ride photos, Magic Shots, and all professional photos taken around the parks for one week. So it comes down to how many days you'd like to have pictures. I want to add that I recently purchased Genie+ for a two-day visit, and I felt it was well worth the cost. We had little to no waits at many attractions, plus all the photos for those two days. If I were staying a week, though, I would consider the Disney PhotoPass+ One Week package.

I'd love to hear your thoughts comparing Disneyland Resort with Walt Disney World Resort. They're perfect bookends for true Disney fans. Have a fabulous time this summer, Nikki, and stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
