I'm planning a trip to Disneyland on January 22 and 23, 2024. I noticed that if I buy a 2 day ticket at $310, it's more expensive then buying 2 one day tickets at $104 each. I thought buying multi day tickets included a discount.

    Hello Holly,

Thank you for reaching out to us here at planDisney about your upcoming Disneyland trip! It's my pleasure to assist you with understanding the ticket options available.

When it comes to single-day tickets at Disneyland, the prices vary based on how busy each day is expected to be. If you're visiting on days that are typically less busy and cheaper, then buying individual one-day tickets might actually be more cost-effective than a multi-day ticket. Multi-day tickets have a set price that's an average, assuming people will visit on a mix of busier and less busy days.

The base price you see for single-day tickets is for the quieter days, and it goes up if you choose busier days or add extras like park hopping. For multi-day tickets, the initial price increases only with added extras.

To figure out the best deal for your January visit, compare the single-day ticket prices for your specific dates (and the parks you want to visit) to the price of a multi-day ticket.

And here’s a fantastic tip for your visit: Starting January 23, the Lunar New Year festivities begin at Disney California Adventure Park. This is a vibrant celebration with unique cultural performances, special food offerings, and themed activities. It’s a wonderful way to experience the park and immerse yourself in the festivities, adding extra magic to your visit.

If you have more questions or need further assistance, we here at planDisney are here to help. Wishing you a magical and memorable trip to Disneyland!
