Hello! I'm planning a trip to Disneyland in January around the 11 th. Does anyone know when and how long it's a small world will be closednto take down holiday decorations?

    Hi there, Melanie!

Welcome, and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort soon!

Experiencing “it’s a small world” Holiday is one of my favorite things about visiting the Happiest Place on Earth this time of year. There is even a special lighting ceremony and projection show each evening. Seeing the attraction facade transform with thousands of twinkling lights is a pixie-dusted experience! Keep an eye out for a giant clockwork mechanism to appear, revealing a menagerie of holiday toys and treats.

“it’s a small world” Holiday typically closes in mid-January for removal of the seasonal overlay and reopens in late January or early February. I expect that the last day to experience this attraction before it closes will be on or around January 12, so there is a good chance you’ll be able to see it if you visit Disneyland Park by then.

I hope this helps you plan, Melanie. Please feel free to send us any other questions you may have as your vacation draws near!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
