Heya, hiya, Leah! Sending you a big planDisney welcome from sunny California!
I’m so glad you stopped by with your question, because I have some wonderful news to share. Whether your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth begins on your original date or shifts by a day, there’s plenty of flexibility to help you keep the magic flowing smoothly.
When it comes to your
Disneyland Resort hotel reservation, the Fairy Godmother has made things wonderfully flexible—you can usually modify your booking online up to 30 days before your arrival. Simply head to the
My Hotel Reservations page and make your edits with a wave of your mouse (no magic wand required!). If you don’t see your hotel stay linked in your MyDisney account, no worries—a quick call to the
hotel reservations line will connect you with a friendly Cast Member who’ll be happy to help get everything squared away.
When it comes to your theme park tickets and reservations, I’ve got more good news! These are designed with flexibility in mind, so you can usually adjust them before your trip if your dates change. The key is availability, which depends both on the day you’d like to visit and the ticket tier you’ve purchased. To check, I recommend first visiting the
theme park reservation availability calendar to see if your new date is open.
Once you’ve found a date that works, simply head over to the
park reservations page and click “Make or Modify Park Reservations.” You can also do this right in the
Disneyland mobile app: tap the menu (☰) button, then “Future Plans.” From there, select your reservation, login to your account, scroll down to find the date you’d like to change, and tap “Modify Reservation.” Piece of cake! And if you run into any hiccups—or just prefer a little extra guidance—don’t hesitate to
call the tickets line to speak with a friendly Cast Member.
So there you have it, Leah—whether your trip begins on one date or the next, the magic of Disneyland will be ready and waiting for you. And since your visit is in February, here’s one more planning pro tip:
dining reservations open up 60 days in advance. That means you can begin booking as early as December for a February visit! If there are any must-try restaurants on your list—like
Blue Bayou Restaurant,
Lamplight Lounge, or
Cafe Orleans—it’s a great idea to mark your calendar so you can snag your favorites right when the booking window opens.
Leah, February is such a wonderful time to visit, with its cool winter weather and plenty of opportunities to slow down and savor all the Disney magic. No matter which day you arrive, I know your visit will be filled with unforgettable memories.
Have a magical day!
Cody
