I'm planning a trip to Disney World next November for 2 adults and 3 children (ages 8, 4. and 15 months). I'd like to stay at the hotel that provides the quickest transportation to and from the parks with the least amount of stops. Any suggestions?

Lisa, your crew is going to have a fabulous trip to see Mickey! By planning ahead you will be able to have an experience as enchanting as Cinderella's night at the ball.

Walt Disney World's themes parks and resorts are spread over a vast area approximately the size of San Francisco. Some hotels provide quick monorail access to the Magic Kingdom, others are walking distance to Epcot, and some are close to other parks or Downtown Disney. Want to stroll over to the classic Magic Kingdom? Then book a room at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Want to be a couple of minutes from Disney's Animal Kingdom? Then Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is ideal for you. My top choices for convenience would be Disney's BoardWalk Inn or Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resort since both are close to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Most resorts have dedicated buses that typically travel from their home resort to the parks and back. Buses that serve large resorts, such as Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, make multiple stops within the hotel complex. Disney's All-Star Resorts do share buses.

Take a look at Disney's resort hotels with your ideal location and budget in mind. Please feel free to contact me again if you would like more input once you decide on a price point and a park you would like to be close to.
