Hi, Danielle!
Wow! Six adults and one little one, all traveling to Walt Disney World together; you are in for one magical trip!
Regarding reasonably-priced resorts, you might want to take a look at a
Walt Disney World Value Resort. You could book two Family Suites for your party of 7, which would give each group
two separate bathrooms, living areas and a mini-kitchen per suite. Both Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort feature these fantastic options, so these would be a good place to start.
You could also look to stay in a two-bedroom
Deluxe Villa, where you'll have one bedroom which sleeps four, a master bedroom which sleeps two and a living area which sleeps three (utilizing the sleeper sofa and sleeper chair). While this is a more expensive option, you gain a full kitchen and in-room washer and dryer, both of which may help you to save money. We cook breakfast and prepare light snacks in our villa kitchen, which cuts down on our dining expenses. Plus, we never check a suitcase at the airport, saving airline luggage fees. Instead, we use carry-ons and wash two loads of laundry each night...we even arrive home with clean clothes. This, too, will keep all seven of you in the same room. Disney's Old Key West Resort may be the most affordable of the Deluxe Villas and the rooms are the most generous in size as well.
If sharing a space is not necessary, then a stay at one of the Value Resorts will be the most economical for everyone.
No matter which you chose, your home resort will feature fantastic theming throughout the property, so you're sure to enjoy your stay.
Send another question regarding the timing of your stay and I'll give some more tips on how to save money while enjoying a stay in WDW, Danielle. I have lots of them!
