Hello! I'm planning to take a trip to Disney World with my family. We took our 6th trip last year during Christmas week, and let me tell you, it was CROWDED! I was wondering, do you think it will be crowded December 14-20, 2014? If so, how much? Thank You!

    Hi Rogelio,
    ,

As exciting as it is to be at Walt Disney World during Christmas week, you are correct in your view that it is probably the most crowded time of the year. Historically, the dates you mentioned as an alternative are far less crowded.

I checked the independent site touringplans.com, which compiles historical crowd data, and it predicts low to moderate crowds right up to the weekend before Christmas. You still get the advantage of all the beautiful decorations and special activities without the masses.

I hope that is helpful. If your schedule permits, I think you will find the earlier dates more enjoyable in terms of crowds.

Please let me know if I can answer other questions as your vacation gets closer. Enjoy!
