Hello! I'm planning a trip to Disney world in april/may, but I'm not sure if it's a good time to go. A friend told me that this will coincide with spring break and there will be big lines in the attractions. Is this right? Thank you!

    Hi Graziela,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

It’s great to hear you’re planning a springtime visit to Walt Disney World. It’s a beautiful time to take in all that Walt Disney World has to offer.

No matter what page you turn to on the calendar throughout the year, you’re sure to find something special and exciting happening — the runDisney event weekends and Epcot International Festival of the Arts in January and February, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival in the spring, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in the fall, Halloween Time, and the Holidays at Walt Disney World. It’s year-round magic!

In the late-April time frame when you’re arriving, I’d think that most spring break vacations will have come and gone. My best suggestion to get the most enjoyment from your visit is to use the My Disney Experience online tool and mobile app to make your FastPass+ selections for popular attractions and your dining reservations. Simply making these plans in advance can help you avoid many of the long lines you might encounter for popular attractions and restaurants.

Graziela, the Flower & Garden Festival will be blooming at Epcot while you're visiting so be sure to enjoy!
