I'm planning a trip Dec 2025 to southern Ca.A few days are planned at Disneyland, I'm already to confirm & pay for trip, but I can't find any info on days/times of XMAS parades, lites, etc please help so I can confirm plans& dates

Greetings, Elizabeth, and welcome to planDisney! I love visiting the Disneyland Resort during the holiday season. I can picture it now – the towering tree, twinkling lights, a snow-capped castle, toy soldiers marching down the parade route – it's all so merry!

Elizabeth, I love that you are planning ahead for your visit. However, it's a little early to know showtimes for December. Generally, park hours, entertainment schedules, and refurbishment details are added to the Disneyland website and mobile app up to six weeks in advance on a rolling basis. I suggest checking the Hours & Events Calendar at the start of November to see the details for your mid-December trip. Given that Holidays at the Disneyland Resort begin November 14, 2025, you might even check the calendar at the start of October to get an idea of what to expect.

You can also follow the Disney Parks Blog, where a complete guide for the holiday entertainment will likely be shared a few weeks before the start of the season.

Based on my visits in previous years, I believe you'll have plenty to see regardless of which days of the week you visit. Each day, you should be able to meet Characters in their holiday outfits, and see various areas of the parks light up as the sun starts to set. Don't miss the tree and Sleeping Beauty Castle illuminate each evening! "it's a small world" also has a special moment when the façade lights up, and there is a light projection show multiple times after dark.

Remember, we'll have a better idea about the showtimes for the Christmas Fantasy Parade, the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks, and other entertainment across the parks once the Hours & Events Calendar is updated. If you are hoping to finalize your plans before then, you can't go wrong with scheduling your visit to include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – that may be when you have the chance to see the widest variety of entertainment across both parks, the Disneyland Resort Hotels, and the Downtown Disney District.

Elizabeth, I hope this information has sprinkled a little pixie dust on your plans. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!

    Wishing you magic,
