Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by and sharing your questions with us! I know you are excited to start planning your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many exciting things on the horizon, so let’s get started by answering your questions!

I just took a look at the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar, and you can currently make Disney Park Pass Reservations in April of 2022! Since the calendar reflects availability, at this time, I would assume that the Disney Park Pass Reservation System will still be in effect. If anything changes with this reservation system, you will see updates on the Walt Disney World website and the Disney Parks Blog site.

As the Disney Resorts Collection offers more re-openings of the hotels, if you have a resort hotel booked but prefer a different resort hotel, you can modify your reservation. We do not have dates for when each Walt Disney World Resort hotel will re-open, but you will always be able to find up-to-date announcements on this and so much more on the Disney Parks Blog! Since April is a popular month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, I would make my reservation and check the Disney Parks Blog for updates and “Special Offers” on the Walt Disney World website. If something pops up that you feel is a “Practically Perfect” fit for your April vacation, then you will have time to modify your Walt Disney World vacation package. Also, purchasing a Walt Disney World vacation package will make it easier to make any modifications!

You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration!” I am super elated to experience this celebration and the EARidescent excitement it will be bringing to all four theme parks and beyond! To stay informed of everything planned for this EPIC moment in Walt Disney World history, “Sign Up” on “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” site.
