Hi Aaron, welcome to planDisney!
There is no better place to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World Resort. I'm so glad you've decided to treat yourself to a stay at Disney's incomparable
Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. I fell in love with this resort the moment it was featured on the sitcom Full House when I was a child. This resort is the definition of luxury; whether walking the grounds or enjoying a memorable dining experience at one of the elegant
restaurants, the pixie dust will be flowing. Imagine yourself enjoying a birthday beverage at
Enchanted Rose and being serenaded by the
lobby pianist. It's almost too magical for words.
Early theme park entry is one of the many perks enjoyed by Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. This perk allows you to enter all four theme parks 30 minutes before the
park officially opens each day. Since you'll be staying at a deluxe resort hotel, you can also take advantage of
extended evening theme park hours, which are scheduled for select parks on select days each week. I'm pleased as punch to share that you can take advantage of both of these amazing perks on your check-in and check-out day. Keep in mind that valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is conveniently located next to Magic Kingdom Park. To get there, I recommend taking the monorail one stop or enjoying the ten-minute walk following the path that starts to the right as you face
Gasparilla Island Grill. The patio in front of Gasparilla's is also a great place to watch
Disney Enchantment.
Thank you for letting planDisney be a part of your special birthday, Aaron. When you arrive at the resort, please be sure to pick up a birthday button at the front desk. Cast Members and Guests would also love to be a part of your celebration.
Have a magical birthday!
Jennifer
