I'm planning to travel to Disney Orlando in January. My daughter is 2 years (and 10 months) old. Probably, we will be at Disney in her birthday (3 years; 01/21/2020). Do I have to pay for her park tickets?

    Hi Vinicius,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

The answer to your question depends on whether you’ve purchased a Disney Resort Hotel Package for your upcoming vacation. If you have, and you’re scheduled to arrive before she actually turns 3, she won’t need a Theme Park Ticket because she’ll be considered “under 3” for your entire stay.

If, however, you haven’t purchased Theme Park Tickets as part of your stay at a Disney Resort Hotel, you’ll need to purchase a ticket for your daughter if you want to visit a Theme Park on her actual birthday, and for any subsequent days.

If you want more tips and tricks for getting the most out of your Disney Parks vacation with your little one, please visit the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page. I visited it frequently when my son was younger.

And please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
