I'm planning to travel with 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 3) in Fall 2011.I am looking to travel either last week of September or last week in Oct. Which is the less busy time? I'm considering a value or moderate resort. Any suggestions?

    Hi Megan,

Late September and late October are both excellent times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.  You can't go wrong by choosing either one as lines for attractions should be quite reasonable.  If your family loves to swim while on vacation, then I would choose September because the temperatures will be a bit warmer.  If milder temperatures are your preference, then October it is!

Although I'm sure you'd enjoy any of the Disney value or moderate resorts, I would choose a pirate themed room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort if I were traveling with a three- and five-year-old.  You just can't beat the theming of these rooms at this lush tropical resort.

Whichever time you choose, I'll be sending you extra pixie dust for a memorable family vacation.
