Hi, I'm planning on taking my soon to be 3 year old on a cruise. I was looking at the Disney one and also the Carnival cruise... Any suggestions on which is better?? Financially and fun wise?

    Hi Jessica,

Disney Cruise Line is exceptional, and offers something for everyone!  Children find themselves on a floating wonderland.  Trained counselors care for all of the children, plan their activities and actually play with them.  Kids are visited at their clubs by many of their favorite Disney characters!  Arts and crafts projects are constantly offered, and themed parties are the norm.  A child's imagination comes to life on a Disney cruise!

For adults, perhaps tired parents (like myself), enjoy the fact that they have time to relax.  While your kids are playing or watching first run movies at the theatre, you can visit Vista Spa & Salon for a massage, and swim in the adults-only pool.  Don't forget that you can dine at one of the fine dining, adults-only restaurants. The nightlife on board is also top notch.

Of course, Disney Cruise Line also offers tons of family time.  Enjoy Broadway style shows every evening and exciting port adventures at every one of your destinations.  Of course, what I've mentioned are only a few of the things offered.  Please look at DCL for New Cruisers for more information.

As for pricing, when you take in to account that child care, most of the restaurants, beverages and entertainment are included in the price of the trip, you'll start to wonder how they can pull off such top quality and magnificent service.   Please call Disney Cruise Line for more pricing information.

I hope this helps you decide.  It really is a magical experience to sail on a Disney cruise.  Happy sailing!
