I’m planning on taking my son for his 2nd birthday to Disney world this October, what do you recommend?

Hi Friend, welcome to planDisney! Although I don't know your name, I'm thrilled you're here. I have a feeling that we're going to be the best of friends! Do you know why? I've celebrated my son's second birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm currently planning my other son's second birthday at Disney World, too. It's like we're on this journey together! I'm here for you, so let's make some Disney magic happen together!

Planning a Walt Disney World trip with a 2-year-old can be a lot of fun, so don't let it overwhelm you. The key is to enjoy the experience with your little one and not to worry too much about fitting in all the attractions. Just take a deep breath, relax, and let the magic happen!

First things first, I recommend staying at one of the fantastic Disney Resorts Collection hotels. This is super convenient because you can quickly return to your room throughout the day for a quick nap or a swim in one of their spectacular pools. Plus, you get to enjoy some extra special perks like advanced dining reservations, transportation, extra magic hours, and more!

Next up, let's talk about which theme parks to visit. While I can't predict what your little one will like, I can tell you that my son had an absolute blast at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom. I suggest spending at least two days at Magic Kingdom - there are so many attractions and character meetings to enjoy! And don't forget about the extraordinary character dining experiences at Chef Mickey's and Tusker House Restaurant. You get to hang out with your favorite characters, snap some epic photos, and enjoy mouth-watering food - what could be better?

Finally, the most important tip I can give is to take it easy and go with the flow. Enjoy the parks' sights, sounds, and smells, and let your little one run wild and free. Don't stress too much about planning out every single minute of your day. Instead, plan ahead for meals and rest time, and let the rest unfold naturally. And don't forget to stay hydrated!

I hope this helps, but please come back anytime and send us more questions if you have them! It's always a tremendous pleasure for us to help a friend like you!

    Cheers
    Nilson
