Hi Malena! Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to have you here with me. I can hardly contain my excitement as your magical trip is just around the corner. In less than 24 hours, you'll be making unforgettable memories with your kids!
No visit to the Magic Kingdom is complete without
going "underwater" on an exciting tour of Ariel's gadget-filled grotto or
boarding the eerie "Doom Buggy" where you get to meet 999 friendly ghosts! From my personal experience, I can tell you that I was able to ride both attractions with three seated individuals and one baby or toddler on our lap. However, since you have a group of five, please keep in mind that the Cast Member boarding your group will have to make the final safety decision. Safety is the top priority at Disney, particularly for the little ones. So, I strongly advise checking with a Cast Member before joining the queue to ensure your entire group has a fun yet safe experience.
Also important to know is if your oldest child is 7 or older and
meets the height requirement, they can ride any attraction without adult supervision. So while they enjoy the ride, you can accompany the younger ones.
Malena, I understand you were hoping for a different answer because this is a family trip, and you want your children to enjoy both attractions together. However, I am confident that the Cast Members will do their best to accommodate you and ensure you have a magical day.
If you have any other questions in the future,
do not hesitate to reach out. It will be an immense pleasure to be part of your Walt Disney World planning once again.
Cheers
Nilson
