Well hello again Brandi and welcome back to planDisney!
We meet again for another Walt Disney World roundup. I hope that the info I gave you last time about
choosing which theme park to go to on which day of your trip proved helpful. Let's see if we can give you some tips today to make choosing
Ticket Options for your family a breeze.
The current Theme Park Ticket Options are:
1. A Standard Theme Park Ticket. These are for 1 theme park per day.
2.
A Ticket with Park Hopper Option. You can start your day at one park and switch to another starting at 2 p.m. as long as there's availability at that next park.
3. A Ticket with Water Park and Sports Option. You can visit one park per day + some visits to a Water Park, mini-golf, etc. Each day of the ticket includes one visit to the other activity.
4. A Ticket with Park Hopper Plus Option. This one is a hybrid of options 2 and 3.
I consider my family's likes and preferences when choosing my Ticket Options. We'd rather lounge poolside than go to water parks and prefer the theme parks and
Disney Springs when not at our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. For those reasons, the option that works best for our vacations is the Ticket with Park Hopper Option. Talk to your travel party and see what they would like to accomplish on this family vacation to decide which option will suit y'all best.
Pro-tip: Currently, Walt Disney World Resort Guests will be able to purchase
Disney Genie+ Service on the day of their visit to each theme park. Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels will be able to start making
Lightning Lane selections at 7 AM while Guests of other hotels will be able to start making those selections at the time of park opening.
Brandi, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
