Hi there! I'm planning on taking my daughter April 11-16 2010.My daughter will turn 2 on April 15, 2010.Any suggestions? Can a DVC member book my vacation? It will be 3 adults, my 13 year old stepdaughter, and the baby. Will we be considered a party of 5?

    Hi Diana,

How special that your daughter's 2nd birthday will be at WDW.  I would recommend having her celebratory dinner at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends.  The birthday celebration there is very sweet and perfect for a 2 year old.  Be sure to mention that you will be celebrating a birthday when you make the reservations.  You can also order a custom cake for your party to make it even more special.

If you have a friend or family member that will let you use their time at a DIsney Vacation Club resort, it is very easy for them to do it through member services.  Last year, in lieu of birthday and Christmas presents, I gifted three of my cousins a week at Old Key West.  It was so much fun to be able to share a WDW vacation with them and it saved me multiple trips to the mall.

Your friend will still need to tell member services who will be in the room, but the baby does not count in the per room maximum guest numbers.

    Enjoy your trip
