Terry from NY Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm planning a surprise trip to WDW for my two kids. My husband passed away last July, this trip will be a healing experience for us. I cannot find a 'welcome' that would encompass this, other than The First Visit. Any suggestions?

Hello, Terry, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you kindly for consulting us.

Firstly, we wish to express our deepest condolences for your great loss and are looking forward to accommodating you and your family at Walt Disney World Resort.

May I suggest a Disney In-Room token of courage called "My Magical Triumph" or "Honor Your Hero" for your children through Disney Floral and Gifts. "Honor Your Hero" is an exclusive Mickey Mouse medal with a personalized declaration displaying courage, character, and hope. The talented and creative Cast Members can also be reached by telephone where you can discuss specifics at (407) 939-4438. A great many ideas are offered through Disney Floral and Gifts to help make your visit unique and special.

Terry, once at Walt Disney World Resort, you could also purchase and personalize "Mickey Mouse Ear Hats" at Curtain Call Collectibles at Disney's Magic Kingdom park, or, pre-order your Disney Parks Authentic Ear Hats through the Disney Store online at disneystore.com as a surprise in preparation for your vacation.

May I offer the convenience of an inclusive vacation through a Magic Your Way Vacation Package which will include your Disney Resort hotel, Theme Park Tickets and one of many Disney Dining Packages, suited to your preferences, travel style, and budget.

Terry, I hope this information is helpful, we wish you well and we would be honored to assist you further with your vacation plans.
