I'm planning on staying at Fort Wilderness but I have a pop up camper but it is all hard sides. I have no canvas. I am also bringing my dog. Will she be allowed to stay in my camper?

You're in for a treat, Chad. Whether Guests opt for a stay in the cabins or at the campsites, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a nature-lover's retreat in the midst of Walt Disney World. A stay there feels juxtaposed in the best possible way; it feels like you're worlds away from the hustle and bustle of day life, but the magical experiences of a Disney vacation surround you. It's a great home away from home!

It sounds like you've read the details of the Pet-Friendly Policy extended to Guests of The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. It states that pets are not permitted in tents or pop-up campers. Your particular pop-up camper sounds like it is constructed a little differently and so I wanted to check on any exceptions to this general rule. Unfortunately, the Cast Member I spoke with confirmed what is stated in the policy. Pets are permitted only in climate-controlled personal recreation vehicles.

Are you familiar with Best Friends Pet Care? It's located quite close to The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Perhaps it would be a nice spot for your furry little friend to rest her head while you're adventuring.

I'm sorry I couldn't provide you with a more agreeable answer, Chad. I hope that your vacation is unforgettable and that you find the perfect solution for your pup.
