Hi, Mayra! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am also the parent of a child with special needs, so I can assure you from personal experience that the Walt Disney World Resort does a wonderful job of providing
services for guests with disabilities. The Walt Disney World Resort also offers a wide range of options for guests with
special dietary requests.
When a guest wishes to purchase a
Disney Dining Plan, they must do so for all of the guests staying under that
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation. I spoke to a Cast Member and was told that the only exception to this rule would be if a guest was using a feeding tube. If your child has a feeding tube, you may purchase a Disney Dining Plan for the rest of your family, excluding your daughter. If this is not the case, you still have some other options.
You can book your Walt Disney World Resort
vacation package without adding on the Disney Dining Plan. In this case, you would simply purchase your meals out of pocket during your vacation. Please keep in mind that you are also permitted to bring food into the Walt Disney World theme parks, as long as you follow the guidelines detailed in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. If you would still like to purchase a Disney Dining Plan for your family and would like to see what accommodations can be made to fit your child's dietary needs, I would recommend contacting Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.
