I'm in the planning stages of our first family trip and I want to be sure my littlest one will be able to ride the rides. What is the average height requirement for the kids rides?

    Hi Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to help you plan your family's first trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to get complimentary First Visit buttons to wear during your visit so Guests and Cast Members can help you celebrate. I have two little Mouseketeers who we have taken to visit Mickey and friends multiple times, even when they were just babies, and I think you will find many options for kids of all ages...and heights! Attractions that are for Guests of 'Any Height' can be enjoyed by all Guests. I took my youngest on many of these rides when he was just 7 months old! You can take a look at this Disney Parks Blog Post with height requirements for the attractions at all four theme parks to get an idea of what is available for each member of your family. I think you will find many options for your little one, especially at Magic Kingdom!

Be sure to take advantage of the Rider Switch service when you want to enjoy attractions that your little one is too small for. In our family, it's a great way for our older son to enjoy all of the "big kid" rides while my little guy can fun things elsewhere in the theme park. No one has to miss out on items on their "must-do list" and no one has to wait in queues for things they aren't going to ride!

Please let me know if you have any more questions as you continue to plan your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
