I'm planning a split stay, 3 days at POFQ and 4 at Wilderness Lodge. If I get the Deluxe dining on both reservations will I have to worry about the first 3 days credits expiring on my switch day or is it considered 1 dining plan for 7 days?

    Hi Sarah!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are getting ready for an incredible "split stay" at Walt Disney World Resort where you will be enjoying two Disney Resort hotels during your vacation. This is the perfect way to enjoy the unique theming and atmosphere of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and Disney's Wilderness Lodge during your trip!

Disney dining plans are a great way to pay for the majority of your dining expenses in advance of your trip. Plus, since you are enjoying the Disney Deluxe Ding Plan, you will be able to enjoy many of the incredible Signature Restaurants throughout the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. All Disney dining plans are attached to your Disney Resort hotel reservation and you will receive one set of dining entitlements per person on your reservation per night of your reservation. Your dining entitlements become active on your check-in day and you will be able to use them until midnight on the evening of your check-out day.

So for your "split stay", you will receive your dining entitlements for each portion of your stay separately and you will need to manage your remaining entitlements for each portion of your trip. I think the easiest way to manage your entitlements is using the My Disney Experience mobile app, but you can also get your entitlement balance from all of your dining receipts and by asking the Lobby Concierge at your Disney Resort hotel.

Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning your magical vacation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
