Hi Katina,
Welcome to planDisney!
What a celebration! 28 years? This brings me joy. My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary this month as well and I certainly did not plan anything as extraordinary as a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, so you seem to be in the lead for spouse of the year!
First, be sure you have created a
My Disney Experience account. Be sure to check the
theme park availability calendar prior to purchasing tickets. When I just checked, only Disney's Animal Kingdom and EPCOT had park availability. Then, purchase your
theme park tickets online. Once purchased, log into My Disney Experience and
link those tickets. After you link your tickets, make
Disney Park Pass system reservations.
Now, let's think about dinner. My favorite restaurants for special celebrations are
California Grill,
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, and
Narcoossee's. Each of these restaurants has lovely window views. If you do spend the day at EPCOT, you could try one of the restaurants at EPCOT.
San Angel Inn Restaurante has quite the romantic indoor setting. On our last visit we also loved eating on the outdoor patio at
Rose & Crown Dining Room. At Disney's Animal Kingdom,
Tiffins would be a wonderful choice.
Given the date of your arrival, I am worried about
advanced dining availability. So, check all available restaurants and plan from there. There may be some availability at
Disney Springs restaurants. We love walking around Disney Springs and shopping before or after dinner, so allow some time to browse the shops.
Katina, time is of the essence! Check park pass availability, purchase and link those tickets, and then make a dining reservation as soon as possible! We cannot wait to welcome you and your husband to world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
