I'm planning to take my son for his 10th birthday, it will be his first trip. What is the best Disney resort to stay in for a 10 year old boy?

    Hi Veracity,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. How wonderful is going to be this vacation at Walt Disney World Resort with your son for the first time. I bet it will be the first of many others. Since I have a 13-year-old boy, I am able to help you. If your child likes sports, my suggestion would be Disney's All- Star Sports Resort. This hotel is a value one and features huge sports icons: bright football helmets, tennis rackets, and baseball bats—all taller than the buildings they adorn. Stayed once with my family in the Surf’s up! area and we had a blast. This area is close enough to the End Zone food court and the main swimming pool. The food court is perfect for a quick breakfast where my son enjoyed his mickey waffle with bacon to start his day. My other hotel suggestion would be Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge; nobody needs to like animals to enjoy this stunning hotel, which fuses African tribal architecture with the exotic, rugged style of grand East African national-park lodges. Be able to contemplate the beauty of this hotel it is something unforgettable. Inside, they have a restaurant called Boma Flavors of Africa where I highly recommend that you have a dinner and for dessert have a Zebra Dome for me because it’s my favorite dessert in entire WDW. Glad that we can help you, don’t hesitate to come back and have a magical vacation!

    Warm hugs.
