Hello, hello there, Aaron! Thank you so much for stopping by
my very own magical corner of planDisney with your question today. Any day spent answering questions for my fellow Guests is my favorite day!
Solo trips are definitely one of my favorite ways to experience the magic, and I'm sure you're going to have the very best time exploring the Walt Disney World Resort on your own this Summer! Plus, as a Disability Access Service (DAS) user myself, I completely understand where you're coming from, especially if you're going to be alone the whole time.
First of all, I'd like to explain how the DAS registration works for Guests outside of the United States. Since the pre-registration live chat is currently unavailable for us, you will need to wait until you're physically at one of the Theme Parks in order to complete your registration. Then, after speaking with a Guest Relations Cast Member who will determine whether the service is right for you, you will be all set!
Following your DAS registration, you will have access to the DAS platform within the
My Disney Experience mobile app. And fear not, Aaron, because it's super easy to use and it won't interfere with your Lightning Lane or Individual Lightning Lane selections at all! All you need to do after registering is head to the My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of your screen, scroll all the way down until you see the DAS box, and click on it. From here, you'll be able to make one selection at a time until park closing! My personal tip for you would be to make the next selection as soon as you've used the previous one.
Now, Aaron, if you do decide to purchase the
Disney Genie+ service and/or any Individual Lightning Lanes during your magical vacation, those will work exactly the same for you as they will for any other Guest. With Disney Genie+, you'll be able to keep booking the next available Lightning Lane selections for over 40 attractions and experiences throughout the day in addition to your DAS selections, and you'll also be able to purchase up to two Individual Lightning Lane selections per day.
Finally, since you're a huge Winnie the Pooh fan, I suggest that you take the time to visit Magic Kingdom Park and ride
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in Fantasyland. This is one of the cutest attractions throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm sure you're going to love it! Also, if you're planning on visiting EPCOT, make sure to keep your eyes peeled near the Imagination Pavilion. He LOVES catching butterflies on the grass there! But just know that he does get rumbly in his tumbly every now and then, so you'll need to be patient when he leaves to look for Hunny.
Aaron, I hope that your solo Disney trip is as magical as you intend it to be. Please don't hesitate to come back and ask me any other questions you might have!
Always remember that you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. See you real soon,
Ana Paula
