Hi! I'm planning my second trip to Disney World with a travel agent and it's going wonderfully! I'll be there 9/23-9/28 with my 13 and 2 year old. We have planned on 4 character meals- 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners during the 7 days. Is that too much?

Hello Jessica!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

Walt Disney World Character Meals offer great value for a unique and magical experience with our favorites Disney characters and for only one meal per person in the group.
Cinderella´s Royal Table restaurant is the only exception, as this restaurant requires two meals per person.

Four Character Meals look to be about right during a seven day vacation.
I recommend trying different type of cuisines, to make each meal unique.
Restaurants as Tusker House, ´Ohana, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall feature unique meal selections.
Disney restaurant and their menus are available at Disney´s Dining web page.

If you are using the Deluxe Dining Plan, I suggest trying a few Signature Restaurants during your vacation.
My first recommendation is California Grill at Disney´s Contemporary Resort - a 15 minute walk from the Magic Kingdom.
Not only do they serve some of the best food at Disney restaurants, but you will also have a spectacular view of the Magic Kingdom.

We also love eating at the Yachtsman Steakhouse when visiting Hollywood Studios, and at Jiko The Cooking Place during our visits to the Animal Kingdom.

Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge is another favorite I must recommend.

At Epcot you will find the most alternatives to choose from, so take some time for researching your best options.

Glad to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
