I'm planning on running in the Princess 1/2 and the Family 5K. I have a few questions. I know you can stop along the way to take photos with characters. Do they sign books? What types of costumes do people wear? Thanks for all your help! Gotta run! =)

Hi Lori!  Great name=)  The Princess Half Marathon weekend is so much fun!
There are plenty of "characters" to see along the race course.  You can definitely stop to take pictures.  If you have a pen with you, the characters should be more than happy to autograph your book!
As for costumes, you will see a little bit of everything! From no costumes to full-length princess ballgowns!  There are also a LOT of colorful, fluffy tutu skirts along the way.  The only rule is that you cannot wear a mask, for safety reasons.  Other than that, use your imagination!  I do suggest that you go for a practice run in whatever you plan to wear so you know it will be comfortable.  (imagine the looks you'll get running through your town as a princess!)
I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any other questions concerning any runDisney events.  I hope to see you there!!
