I'm planning to make 8:00 AM res. for Crystal Palace on a day the park opens at 9 AM. What do we do if we finish our meal before park opens - go back to the front of the park? or is there a place we're to wait in? does the meal take an hour to comple?

Hi Sandra....this is one of my favorite things to do!  Not only do I enjoy breakfast at Crystal Palace, but I also love walking down Main Street U.S.A. when you have it almost to yourself!  You should be able to get a great family picture in front of the castle as well!

Anyway, to answer your question - don't worry...you do not have to go back to the front of the park.  Simply decide what land you'd like to visit first and head towards it.  (If you will be visiting Fantasyland, I recommend you head there first.)  You'll be able to wait near the entrance to the land which are blocked by ropes and cast members.  Once the park officially opens, the ropes will be removed and you'll be first to enjoy the attractions while the crowds at the front of the park are making their way down Main Street U.S.A.

As far as the meal taking an hour to complete...I guess it depends on how hungry you are - and how fast the characters will come around to your table.  In my past experience, early morning breakfasts have taken our family of five about 45 minutes.  (Of course we also time it so we are at "rope drop" when the park opens!)

    Enjoy!   Diane  :)
